I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Urban Mental Health at the University of Amsterdam. My research focuses on understanding the dynamics of psychopathology and suicidal thinking using advanced quantitative approaches to inform personalized psychotherapy. I work with a variety of methods, including large-scale cohort studies, ecological momentary assessment, and both online and laboratory experiments. Methodologically, my interests include machine learning, symptom network modeling, and time-series analyses in both panel and intensive longitudinal designs.
Alongside my research, I am completing postgraduate clinical training in cognitive behavioral therapy. My clinical experience informs my scientific interests, especially with regard to personalized and mechanism-based approaches to assessment and intervention. My clinical work is grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
I am currently affiliated with the University of Amsterdam and Amsterdam UMC. My long-term goal is to bridge clinical psychological science and clinical practice to improve evidence-based treatments
