I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Urban Mental Health at the University of Amsterdam. My research focuses on understanding the dynamics of psychopathology and suicidal thinking using advanced quantitative approaches. I work with a variety of methods, including large-scale cohort studies, ecological momentary assessment, and both online and laboratory experiments. Methodologically, my interests include machine learning, symptom network modeling, and time-series analyses in both panel and intensive longitudinal designs.
Alongside my research, I am completing postgraduate clinical training in cognitive behavioral therapy. My clinical experience informs my scientific interests, especially with regard to personalized and mechanism-based approaches to assessment and intervention. My clinical work is grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
I am currently affiliated with the University of Amsterdam and Amsterdam UMC, where I work on projects related to developmental psychopathology, executive functioning, and advanced statistical modeling. My long-term goal is to bridge clinical psychological science and clinical practice to improve evidence-based treatments
